The Calabrian chili is certainly the best known of those grown in Italy and is also the most well-liked since it perfectly combines spicy flavour with the aromatic one, ideal combination to enjoy the taste without “burning” the taste buds. This chili, ground and seasoned with oil, forms a thick sauce with intense flavour taht remind the traditional local recipes. Tips: for flavouring first and second courses, to enrich sauces and season vegetables. Excellent on bruschetta, rolls or sandwiches. Ideal on pizza, giving that touch of extra flavour.

SAN MARZANO PDO TOMATOES FROM THE SARNO – NOCERA AGRICULTURAL AREA
Whole peeled tomatoes made exclusively with San Marzano Tomato from the Agro Sarnese Nocerino PDO, cultivated in a limited area within the provinces of Salerno, Naples and Avellino, this tomato is subjected to a rigid discipline which provides for a control that starts from the seeds, from the seedlings, to the cultivation and processing methods, up to laboratory analysis, ensuring that only numbered and certified packages reach the market. A “precious” tomato, with a typical sweet and sour flavour, ideal with first courses of pasta, especially stuffed pasta, as well as the classic second course meat dishes. It is certainly an excellent partner with the most classic of pizzas: obviously Napoletana.
